Day 01: Wednesday - Mumbai - Jaigad
Departure: 1640 Hrs.
1640 Hrs.: Deccan Odyssey leaves the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus at Mumbai for Jaigad. You are given a welcome on board by serving the hot cup of tea.
Dinner will be served on board. Overnight on board.
Day 02: Thursday - Jaigad - Ratangiri
Arrival: 0740 Hrs. Departure: 1600 Hrs
0740 Hrs.: Breakfast will be served on board. Get down at Bhoke Railway Station to board the air-conditioned bus to reach Jaigad. A boat cruise from Rai Jetty will take you Jaigad Fort. From here, continue your journey for Ganapatipule by road. Relax and relish a large spread for lunch on the finest beach along the Konkan Coast. Continue for Ratnagiri by road to visit the Ratnadurg Fort, Lokmanya Tilak Smarak and Ratnagiri Bazaar.
1600 Hrs.: Head for Ratnagiri Railway Station to board the Deccan Odyssey Train. Dinner will be served on board. Overnight on board.
Day 03: Friday - Ratnagiri - Sindhudurg - Sawantwadi
Arrival: 0825 Hrs. Departure: 2000 Hrs.
0825 Hrs: Breakfast will be served on board. Get down at Sindhudurg Nagari Railway Station to board the air-conditioned luxury bus to reach Malvan Jetty. From here, boat cruise will take you to visit the Sindhudurg Sea Fort, Bhavani Temple, Mahadeo Temple, Jarimari Temple, Mahapurush Temple and Shivaji Temple. Continue your journey to Tarkali Beach on the confluence of River Karli and Arabian Sea. Savor the Konkani cuisine for lunch at the beach resort. From Tarkali Jetty, you will head for Kalse Jetty.
2000 Hrs.: Head for Sawantwadi Railway Station to board the Deccan Odyssey Train. Dinner will be served on board. Overnight on board.
Day 04: Saturday - Sawantwadi - Goa
Arrival: 0730 Hrs. Departure: 1715 Hrs.
0730 Hrs.: Breakfast will be served on board. Get down at Karmali Railway Station to board the air-conditioned luxury bus to visit old Goa. You will see the Basilica of Bom Jesus, Se Cathedral Church and the Church of St. Francis of Assisi. Continue for Panjim by bus where you will visit the Dona Paula Beach and Fontanhas, the Latin quarters at Panjim. Lunch will comprise of typical Goan cuisine at Fort Aguada Beach Resort.
1715 Hrs.: Head for Madgaon Railway Station to board the Deccan Odyssey Train. Dinner will be served on board. Overnight on board.
Day 05: Sunday - Goa - Pune
Arrival: 0815 Hrs. Departure: 1500 Hrs.
0815 Hrs.: Breakfast will be served on board. Get down at the station to board the air-conditioned luxury bus to visit the Raja Kelkar Museum and the Shaniwarwada. Give a treat to your taste buds for lunch at the Hotel Le Meridian. After the lunch, continue to visit the Aga Khan Palace, Rajneesh (Osho) Ashram and Davis Sassoon Synagogue.
1500 Hrs.: Head for the Railway Station to board the Deccan Odyssey Train. Dinner will be served on board. Overnight on board.
Day 06: Monday - Pune - Aurangabad
Arrival: 0830 Hrs. Departure: 1800 Hrs.
0830 Hrs.: Breakfast will be served on board. Get down at Aurangabad Railway Station to board the air-conditioned luxury bus to visit the Daulatabad Fort and Ellora Caves. Relish a gourmet's delight for lunch at Hotel Taj. After lunch, continue to visit the Shivaji Museum, Aurangabad Caves and Bibi Ka Makbara.
1800 Hrs.: Head for the Aurangabad Railway Station to board the Deccan Odyssey Train. Dinner will be served on board. Overnight on board.
Day 07: Tuesday - Aurangabad - Nasik
Arrival: 0800 Hrs. Departure: 2230 Hrs.
0800 Hrs.: Breakfast will be served on board. Get down at Jalgaon Railway Station to board the air-conditioned luxury bus to visit Ajanta Caves. Again, board the train at Bhusawal Railway Station and continue for Nasik to visit Panchawati Ghat and Sula Winery Yard.
2230 Hrs.: Head for Nasik Railway Station to board the Deccan Odyssey Train. On the final day on the Deccan Odyssey Train, a tempting Farewell Dinner will be served on board. Overnight on board.
Day 08: Wednesday - Nasik - Mumbai
Arrival: 0815 Hrs.
0815 Hrs.: Breakfast will be served on board. Disembark from the train with lingering memories of a royal journey through some of the stupendous edifices and picturesque sights en-route.
