Day 1 - Arrive Mahabalipuram
Arrive at Chennai Domestic/International airport and meet Evolution Travels representative at the arrival hall. Transfer to Mahabalipuram.
Visit Arjuna's Penance, Krishna Mandapam, Varah Mandapam, Five Rathas and Shore temples. Rest of the day is at leisure to explore the beach.
Day 2 - In Mahabalipuram - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram
In the morning, leave for a day return trip to Kanchipuram where you will see the India's largest silk saris manufacturing and hand woven cotton units.
In the evening return back to Mahabalipuram for overnight stay.
Day 3 - To Pondicherry
In the morning, drive to Pondicherry. Arrive at Pondicherry and check - in at hotel.
Later visit Sri Aurobindo Ashram, the final resting place of the founder of the Ashram, Sri Aurobindo and the Mother. Also visit Church Of The Sacred Heart Of Jesus for seeing stained glass windows built in Gothic style.
Day 4 - To Thanjavur
In the morning, drive to Thanjavur. Arrive Thanjavur and check-in at hotel.
Thanjavur rose to glory during the later Chola reign between the 10th and the 14th Centuries AD and became a centre of learning and culture. It is the headquarters of the district of the same name. Thanjavur district, the ' Rice Bowl ' of Tamil Nadu, is also known for its exquisite handicrafts, bronzes and South Indian Musical Instruments.
Later Visit Brihadeeswara Temple, The Palace, Art Gallery, Hall of Music and Schwartz Church.
Day 5 - To Madurai
In the morning, drive to Madurai. Arrive at Madurai and check-in at hotel.
Visit Meenakshi Temple, where the 1,000-pillared hall has stone figures carved on the pillars, some of which sound like metal when hit with an object. Also visit Tirumalai Nayaka Temple and the Temple Art Museum.
Day 6 - To Periyar
In the morning, drive to Periyar. Arrive at Periyar and check in at Hotel. Later walk around in the peaceful town known for various Spice and coffee plantations.
Day 7 - In Periyar
Early morning enjoy a boat ride on Lake Periyar to see Wild Elephants, Bison, Wild Boar and Samba Deer.
Rest of the day will be at leisure.
Day 8 - To Munnar
In the morning drive to Munnar. Arrive at Munnar and check-in at hotel. Munnar is one of the most famous hill stations of Kerala. Day is at leisure to explore this beautiful small city on your own.
Day 8 - To Kumarakom
In the morning drive to Kumarakom. Arrive at Kumarakom and check-in at hotel. Located on the banks of Vembanad, the small town of Kumarakom is a host to one of the best hotels and Ayurveda Spa's in Kerala. The world of backwaters, thatched houseboats, mangrove forests, emerald green paddy fields, enchanting waterways and canals has just begun.
Day 9 - In Kumarakom
In the morning, proceed for sightseeing of Kumarakom. Explore the place or rest in the hotel and enjoy ayurvedic treatments at the Spa.
Day 10 - To Alleppey
In the morning, drive to Alleppey. Arrive at Alleppey and check-in at houseboat also called as the 'Kettuvelams'. The Houseboat shall take you on an enchanting trip of the famous backwaters and today your home will be the floating Kettuvalloms. Of course the mosquito nets will be there on the boat.
Day 11 - To Cochin
In the morning, drive to Cochin. Arrive at Cochin and check-in at hotel. Cochin is a palm-green commercial town of Kerala and the city consist of the mainland Ernakulam, Willingdon Island, Mattancherry, Fort Cochin, Vypeen Island and Bolghatty Island.
In the evening, see the famous Kathakali Dance Show.
Day 12 - In Cochin
In the morning, visit Mattancherry Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St Francis Church and Chinese Fishing Nets. In the evening, visit the famous Bolghatty Island and Willingdon Island.
Day 13 - To Calicut (Kozhikode)
In the morning, drive to Calicut. Arrive at Calicut and check-in at hotel.
Visit the famous Kappad beach where Vasco Da Gama landed on 27th May 1498 AD thus discovering a sea route to India.
Day 14 - In Calicut
In the morning, visit Dolphin's Point, Thusaragiri, Mananchira and Beypore Beach, which is famous for shipbuilding.
Evening return to hotel.
Day 15 - To Mysore
In the morning drive to Mysore. Arrive at Mysore and check-in at hotel.
Visit Mysore Palace, Sri Rangapatanam, Chamundi Hills. Evening is at leisure to buy the famous sandal works from the local bazaars of Mysore.
Day 16 - To Bangalore
In the morning, drive to Bangalore. Arrive at Bangalore and check in at hotel.
Later visit Bangalore Palace, Tipu Palace, ISCKON Temple, Aquarium, Vidhan Sabha, Cubon Park and Lal Bagh Gardens.
Day 17 - Leave Bangalore
An Evolution Travels representative will assist you to board flight for onward destination.
