Day 1- Arrive Delhi
Arrive at Delhi and meet the representatives of the Evolution Travels at the arrival hall. Transfer and check in to the hotel.
In the afternoon, proceed on a tour of New Delhi. Visit the Rashtrapati Bhawan, the one-time imperial residence of the British viceroys; the India Gate, a memorial raised in honor of the Indian soldiers martyred during the Afghan War; the Laxmi Narayan Temple built by the Birlas, one of India's leading industrial families; Qutab Minar, built by Qutub-ud-din Aibak of the Slave Dynasty and the lotus-shaped Baha'i Temple.
Day 2- In Delhi
In the morning, proceed for sightseeing tour of Old Delhi. Visit the majestic Red Fort, the historical Chandni Chowk, besides Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana.
Day 3- To Mandawa
In the morning, drive to Mandawa. Arrive at Mandawa and check - in at hotel. Afternoon free to take a walking or a bicycle tour of the painted Havelis in Shekhawati region belonging to some of the leading business families of the country
Day 4- To Jaipur
In the morning drive to Jaipur. Arrive at Jaipur and check - in at hotel.
Afternoon is for the sightseeing tour of Jaipur including the City Palace in the heart of Jaipur. It is known for its blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Not far away is the Central Museum with its large collection of woodwork. Another monument near the City Palace is Jantar Mantar. It is the largest of the five observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh. The Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds was constructed for the royal ladies to watch the royal processions without being seen.
Day 5- In Jaipur
In the morning, proceed for excursion to Amber Fort situated just outside the city. You can have the unique experience of traveling on elephant back to and from the top of the hill on which the fort is situated. The remaining day is at your disposal to independently explore the crowded and colorful lanes of the pink city's bazaars and of course you could use your bicycle for this.
Day 6- To Karauli
In the morning, drive to Karauli. Switch over, en route, to your bikes and explore the lovely countryside. Arrive Karauli and check - in at hotel.
Later in the day, you will have an opportunity to explore the colorful bazaars and its narrow lanes on your bike. Also visit the local attractions like City Palace, which is a treasure trove of architecture, stone carvings, gorgeous jalli work and classic paintings. Visit local bazaars for exclusive items of handicraft and colorful bangles of Karauli.
Day 7- To Agra
In the morning, drive to Agra en-route visiting Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. Here you can enjoy a ride on a cycle rickshaw to see birds in their natural habitat. On the way to Agra, also visit Fatehpur Sikri, an abandoned city that was hardly ever inhabited on account of shortage of water.
Arrive at Agra and check - in at hotel.
Day 8- In Agra
Enjoy early morning bicycle ride to Taj Mahal. Taj Mahal is entirely made of white marble and its walls are decorated with exquisite pietra dura (stone inlay) work. Later visit Agra Fort (also called the Red Fort), which retains the irregular outline of the demolished mud-wall fort of the Lodis. The Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daula is located in a walled garden overlooking the Yamuna. Akbar's Tomb at Sikandra, located in a large walled garden on the road to Delhi.
Day 9- To Delhi
In the morning, drive to Delhi en-route visiting Mathura and Vrindavan. Mathura is famous as the birthplace of Lord Krishna. Besides being an important pilgrim place of the Hindus, it is one of the seven most sacred cities in India. Vrindavan is associated with the childhood exploits of Lord Krishna
Day 10- Leave Delhi
An Evolution Travels representative will accompany you to airport to board flight for onward destination.
